Do I need to be fit to keep up in the sessions?
Our training camp is specifically designed for beginners. It builds a foundation fitness, increases body awareness and confidence in ability. There is no need to worry about your current fitness level, you will always be given an option that is suitable for you.
All our trainers are very experienced, you can be confident that we will only push you when we know that you are ready.
If you are a more experienced exerciser you will be pushed so that you progress at a safe and comfortable level whilst still achieving fitness levels far higher than you thought possible.
Is it going to be really hard?
Absolutely but not all at once! The level will step up – but the results will far outweigh the effort.
Of course its easier to just keep doing what you’re doing but if nothing changes, nothing changes.

Do I have to follow a specific diet?
No, we don’t advocate diets at all because by their nature they are temporary. We will show you how to adapt your eating habits so that you are filling your body with nutrient dense foods that the body can use as fuel. Nothing is on the banned list but we will encourage you to eat fresh, whole ingredients and cut out processed foods. You will have full freedom over what you eat and lots of guidance to help you to make better choices.
Why is it more expensive than joining the gym.
Because we want you to succeed. Our prices are not based on the number of sessions you attend but instead on the results we deliver. You are only with us in sessions for between 1 and 4 hours a week, the rest of the time you are on your own. We offer you the support you need to stay on track the other 164 hours of the week. Will I be fit enough?

What if I don’t know anyone in the group and I don’t have anyone to go with?
Most people who join our programme come alone. We foster a supportive environment and you will soon get to know your group and probably go on to form lasting friendships
Boot Camp scares me?
Yellow Fitness style is friendly but firm – we are not army instructors,.
In the first stages of your training you will find gentle encouragement. When you are ready we will introduce greater challenges, but always in the knowledge that that your training is safe and effective and you will succeed.
Are the sessions mixed men and women?
Yes, all sessions are mixed.
If I can’t make all the sessions, is it still worth me joining the group?
You should discuss this with us – it depends how many sessions you can get to. We can set homework tasks to keep you on track whilst you are away.
Why do you train outside, isn’t it cold and wet?
Training out of doors is part of the HAPPY Formula. Fresh air, the elements and differing terrain are all crucial to the results we achieve. Most clients hate the idea of training outdoors but after a couple of sessions they would n ever change back to indoor training. There is nothing better than getting fresh air into your lungs.
If the weather is utterly horrendous we will move the sessions indoors.
What do I wear?
Your welcome pack will recommend clothes suitable for outdoor training, but basically it’s just normal gym clothes, suitable trainers and a light weight water proof. We don’t want you to spend a lot on new kit, because it will get dirty.
I already exercise why do I need this?
Our programmes are about much more than exercise, to be healthy you need to be living a life without stress, eating the right foods, enjoying fresh air daily, strengthening your muscles and bones, keeping your joints mobile and healthy, challenging your heart and lungs, knowing how to switch off your mind and to relax.
The more you challenge the body and mind the more you will become and stay healthy.
I don’t want to look like an idiot in front of other people
Everybody has some fears about this. Our training camp is ideal because you will be with a group at a similar level who are beginning with you. You will see how quickly the group rally round and support each other.
It’s OK starting but I don’t suppose I would keep it up on my own
We find people like training with others because it’s fun. Some of our groups have graduated and still meet up to train together months later. Some graduates join our maintenance programmes.
Once you feel as good as your going to you won’t want to let it slide. If you prefer to keep going on your own we will show you exactly how to do it.
I hate gyms and classes
Me too, seriously, I spent years going to gyms, feeling alone in classes, not understanding the routine, thinking I was just not cool enough to be there.
You will never ever feel like that in any of our sessions.
Every session is different, if you go wrong it doesn’t matter so long as you keep moving, everybody knows everybody and nobody cares what you wear because you are all there to work hard. And we’re not into posing or air kissing .J
