‘I managed to lose 9.5 inches in just 6 weeks and look and feel better now than before I was even pregnant!’
Before starting at boot camp I had gained weight and had little tine to exercise after having my daughter 4 months earlier.
I was worried that the sessions would be too difficult and everyone else would be so much fitter than me. I need not have worried. Vicky structures all of the sessions so we can all work at our own pace and level. And the only person I was competing with was my previous self!
Since completing boot camp I have improved my fitness significantly and my body shape has changed for the better. I managed to lose 9.5 inches in just 6 weeks and look and feel better now than before I was even pregnant!
I feel so proud of myself for rising to the challenge and so much fitter and healthier. Since finishing boot camp I have kept up my fitness with regular exercise and sticking to the nutrition guidance from Vicky. If you’re thinking about joining boot camp then don’t hesitate, it is fantastic and you’re guaranteed amazing results! Thanks Vicky for all your help and support I really appreciate it x
‘I have a lot more energy and feel very positive about my body.’
Before Bootcamp I had started and stopped many exercise and eating regimes but always given up after a few months and put weight on. I felt very heavy, unfit and tired.
I felt very skeptical that the Bootcamp would suit me and that I was paying out more money for something else that wouldn’t work. I hate diets and had never done a detox before.
I loved the detox- it took a lot of preparation but I’m so pleased I did it. I felt great and full of energy and happy. I have become very aware of the food I eat more so than before even though I thought I was a healthy eater before. I also have stuck with the Bootcamp and am in my fifth month- longest I’ve ever stuck with any health/exercise programme.
I have stomach muscles and can do press ups! I have a lot more energy and feel very positive about my body.
My thinking about having a healthy lifestyle is a genuine reality instead of it being another fad- I’m excited to think I can keep this up and feel I can now achieve my ultimate goal of a half marathon next year.
‘My family can see a remarkable difference in my approach to life and I have lost almost 2 stones in weight.’
I was suffering from stress and was unfit and mentally exhausted. I knew I was unfit and overweight and did not have the confidence to join a class with other individuals. I hoped that Vicky could use yoga to help me cope with stress, but her sympathetic and encouraging approach helped me to take control of my diet and activity levels.
I agreed to a twelve week programme where we met twice a week. In between sessions I had exercise “homework” and tools and gentle encouragement to improve my nutrition. I could email or text Vicky for support in between our regular appointments.
I am fitter and I have lost almost 2 stones in weight. My confidence levels have improved, I feel in control of my life, I am happier, my family can see a remarkable difference in my approach to life and my work colleagues tell me how well I look

“It wasn’t long before I was running a mile without stopping, 3 sessions to be exact.”
Before I started on Vicky’s course I thought that I would NEVER be able to exercise I certainly DID NOT believe that I would be able to run as I had tried that before and didn’t get very far. I was in a rut of just sitting in front of the T.V. and eating foods that were piling on the pounds.
I was worried about doing the course because I thought the other people on the course would be so fit and I wouldn’t be able to keep up and therefore feel inadequate.
However, it was the total opposite. It wasn’t long before I was running a mile without stopping, 3 sessions to be exact. I was totally surprised at my fitness level and how quickly Vicky had raised my confidence. I became more health conscious and started to watch what I was putting into my body as I was so excited with my new shape. I have met some lovely people who have motivated me along the way and I never thought I would be saying this but I have also had a good laugh along the way and enjoy turning up for exercise.
Thanks to Vicky and her work I feel so much more healthy, lighter and have a strong desire to keep it up.
“I am 14 inches smaller than I was when I started and fitter than I have ever been.”
5 years ago I became pregnant with twins. Whilst my babies are beautiful my pregnancy and body wasn’t. I had a condition called SPD which meant my ligaments over stretched and I was unable to walk without being in pain let alone anything else.
I had tried to lose weight through dieting but it wasn’t working. I tried different exercise but kept injuring myself! Then a friend of mine suggested Vicky’s Boot Camp. She assured me that Vicky would be able to help and stop me injuring myself which was my major concern.
Now 6 months later I am 14 inches smaller than I was when I started and fitter than I have ever been. If you would have told me that I could do press ups back then I would have laughed but now I show off to me family how I can do them. I look forward to going to my sessions twice a week and feel that by making time for myself I am being a better mum because I am happy and confident with myself which I pass on to my family.
I would thoroughly recommend to anyone to come along and give it a go. I couldn’t do anything when I started but am now going to do an 18k, 35 obstacle course with a team of people who all have the same goal…to be fitter.
I can’t believe what I have managed to achieve through Vicky’s expertise and support. She’s an inspiration to me and I aspire to be like her with my attitude. Her faith in me has enabled me to do things I never thought possible. Thanks Vicky x
“I feel happier and more confident. I really feel I am achieving something.”
I was feeling very tired, lots of headaches and just generally unwell. I was worrying as I was due to go for one of my regular checkups after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009 and I just wasn’t feeling my best. I work as a project manager and spend all day at a computer screen. I would work all day and was so tired at night that I was in bed by 9 and didn’t feel much better the next morning – I also wasn’t sleeping too well. I decided that I would do everything in my power to improve how I was feeling and if I still felt unwell then I would get it checked out.
I was quite nervous as I am not very confident with people I do not know but this was not a problem as everyone was in the same boat and we were all starting from scratch so we all improved together which was great.
I started to feel more energetic and not as tired. After 3 weeks I was doing the detox and on about the 7th day of the detox I was up at 6:30am going for a jog with the dog – unheard of 3 weeks earlier!! After 5 weeks I had lost a number of inches and now I feel I could do anything if I really set my mind to it.
I can do 10 ‘real’ press ups and when I started I couldn’t do 1. I have set myself a challenge to do 1 more press up a day for the next week and I am sure I can achieve this. I have lost a number of inches and clothes fit better as a result. My energy levels have increased and I am getting fewer headaches.
I feel happier and more confident. I really feel I am achieving something. It isn’t easy doing the training but it’s very rewarding and good fun and I feel like I have worked hard at the end of every session. I am not spending each night so tired that all I look forward to is bed and sleep. I am even considering doing a yoga teacher training course next year as a personal challenge.
Vicky – I just want to say thanks. I really am enjoying doing the training sessions and feel I have achieved a lot in the last 4 months.
“I have had comments from friends and colleagues about how good I look and my husband is very proud of me.”
Before Vicky’s course I’d been regularly practising Yoga for quite a few years and always been very slim, although having had a baby 2 years previously meant I’d put on weight which I was struggling to shift and I was comfort eating a lot – I’d never watched what I ate in a sensible way. Despite my developing Yoga practise I felt I had very little strength in my core, and found stomach exercises a real effort. I’d been trying to change my lifestyle (stopped smoking / some dietary changes) after having high cholesterol and high blood pressure since my pregnancy, and losing my dad, who was very young but suffered heart and liver disease from aged 40 made me assess my health in a more serious way – at aged 40 myself I wanted to be fit and healthy for my daughter.
I didn’t really have fears or worries since I’d trained a little with Vicky at her retreat, and been to her Yoga classes, and I know she is fantastic at her job as well as being down to earth and treats everybody equally with respect.
The 6 week course consisted of 2 x weekly sessions of high intensity cardio and strength work which involved a lot of individual effort and team work. All of us got over any inhibitions or worries pretty quickly as we were all in it together. Each session was different, challenging and ‘fun’, and I immediately felt it was such a worthwhile thing to be doing for myself. We made a lot of positive dietary changes pre-detox, during and post-detox too. Vicky was so supportive and encouraging and full of good advice. I actually enjoyed receiving ‘homework’ tasks, which involved exercise and healthy eating, as I felt really connected with the group and that my efforts were being monitored and supported by Vicky every step of the way.
As promised, I have enjoyed results from this course such as dropping inches of body fat and increased ability to run (over 2 minutes faster when running a mile), do sit ups, press ups and squats.
Now my fitness has sky-rocketed and I try to be active as much as possible. I really enjoy getting breathless when exercising and increasing my heart-rate, and run for pleasure, which I never dreamed of doing in my life! My attitude to food has changed and I have learned a lot about nutrition and how I can maintain a healthy, well-balanced approach to eating which is life-changing. I have had comments from friends and colleagues about how good I look and my husband is very proud of me. I feel like I am heading into winter with energy and vitality and not wanting to hibernate, eat junk and sleep…! Can’t thank you enough Vicky, lots of love chick x
“Within three weeks all our fitness levels had increased and inches were lost”
I am one of those people that wants to look good, fit into my clothes and run around with my son without gasping for air. I’d noticed that my metabolism had slowed down over the last two years and kept making that the excuse for not fitting into my clothes. Having tried everything from gyms, numerous diets and even a few charity runs, I turned to Vicky’s “bootcamp” with the thought that “it’s only for six weeks”.
The bootcamp was great, people were friendly and whilst Vicky is your mentor – you control your destiny. The more you put in the more you get out of it. Within three weeks all our fitness levels had increased and inches were lost – I was amazed and so pleased to prove to myself that with some effort I was seeing real results. I just wish I had took some photos of my jeans before and after because honestly – I couldn’t believe it.
The exercises are varied and fun, the food is nutritious and filling. I have so much more energy and even look forward to the group exercise. So after doing it because “it was only for six weeks” I have now signed up for another three months – no going back now!
“I had gone from being unfit and overweight to successfully crossing the line at the UK Ironman”.
Before taking the decision to start training with Vicky I’d got myself into a rut both physically and mentally. After discussing what my aims and goals were, we commenced yoga sessions in the studio which was something completely new to me. Within a couple of weeks I could feel the physical benefits in my core strength but more importantly my motivation was rising all the time. With perfect timing Vicky transferred our training sessions to outdoors and began to increase the intensity, though she was always mindful to keep me motivated and improving all the while.
In less than twelve months I had gone from being unfit and overweight to successfully crossing the line at the UK Ironman. Always good fun, with great results!!
Prior to discovering Yoga (about 4 years ago) I was quite inactive and didn’t do a lot of exercise other than walk my dog. I initially started attending Fitness Yoga through a local gym and whilst I enjoyed them I felt something was missing and so started to research the concept of Yoga myself. I became more interested in the philosophy of yoga and during a trip to a day spa stumbled upon a class ran by Vicky. I was completely blown away by Vicky’s teaching style and delivery. I was made to feel safe and supported and encouraged to try out poses I would not have dreamt of. Consequently I started attending more of Vicky’s classes and as a result felt much calmer and in control of the certain situations in my life. Vicky gave me the confidence and inspiration to continue with my daily Yoga practice which has now become a way of life for me both on and off the mat. My yoga practice is a real tool that I draw on in times of stress as it restores balance and calm into my life. I feel much stronger both physically and mentally whilst working on my flexibility!
My passion for Yoga has developed so much so that I started a Teacher Training course earlier this year as I believe everyone should be prescribed a yoga practice! Vicky was definitely my inspiration for doing so, so thank you.
“In six weeks I lost 10lbs in weight and 9 inches”
I’ve been attending yoga classes for a number of years and had been thinking about taking up a more intense exercise.
I couldn’t believe it when I when I saw Vicky advertising a boot camp and decided to give it a go. The program really suited me as we were encouraged to do only as much as we could and it was like having a personal trainer!
In six weeks I lost 10lbs in weight and 9 inches
The class was really friendly and Vicky was inspirational. Great work Vicky, thanks for your support
Good as having a Personal trainer!
“I do feel mentally better- calmer, confident and peaceful.”
I’ve always tried to look after myself, healthy eating and doing exercises with not much success. I had been attending PT sessions (for about 6 months prior to seeing Vicky) and I was a keen runner for past 10 years. I have always struggling with my flexibility and suffered with back problems (both anatomically and occupational). Simon (PT trainer) suggested I tried a different instructor to speed up my recovery and see how my body felt afterwards.
My fear with yoga classes was my lack of flexibility and doing more damage to my body especially if I was doing the poses incorrectly. The Yogis always appear so lean and bony, which I’m not. The Yogis also appear so calm and peaceful within them, which I am so over excitable and lack this inner strength! I attended previous yoga classes and felt intimidated and found the classes boring.
From starting to see Vicky both PT session and in classes, I have felt my body become very lean and more flexible. My body is definitely stronger. My friends and family have commented on how good my body looks especially after the yoga retreats I went to. I do feel mentally better- calmer, confident and peaceful. I look forward to our sessions, no matter how bad my week/day has been I feel totally regenerated after my session. The sessions are easy to follow with Vicky giving reasons for different hand, foot, leg, arm positions to help with the postures. The sessions are fun and I like the way Vicky is very light hearted about it. Some instructors have been very strict and very ridged about the yoga structure which I can’t possibly do because I don’t have the flexibility.
In my PT sessions with Vicky, I like the way she mixes 3D Yoga with 3D fitness, this has definitely improved my body strength and flexibility without being boring. I have never had a session that has been repeated.
Currently I am 6 months pregnant and my goals have changed slightly. I am still keen to keep the strength I have developed from Yoga. I now enjoy the breathing Pranayama, the meditation, relaxation stuff more. I still like the ‘3D fitness’ we do, since I have given up running, I feel I still need to keep up my cardio which Vicky adapts so I can do cardio exercise in the comfort of my living room space.
Since doing Yoga I do feel I am more ‘peaceful’ and calm about life. I feel strong physically and mentally. The breathing techniques have helped me in work and at home to relax and not to control everything or panic when things go wrong. Despite the weight gain from pregnancy I feel physically healthy and have lots of energy. I still feel lean (body wise) and positive about the whole weight gain. I’m glad to be able to still practice yoga.
“I feel on top of the world I am seeing results have lost over a stone and look and feel great.”
Before working with Vicky I felt very fat and sluggish I didn’t exercise and I needed a holiday badly.
I was worried that everyone would be super fit and thin and I would stand out like a sore thumb as I had not done much before.
Now I have found a new love of exercise, Vicky made it such fun and told me I could do it she was right she gave me the confidence and I have never looked back.
I have joined a gym and have the keep fit bug big time I do yoga 2 times a week Zumba and even do spinning and swim in my lunch hour and I am looking forward to trying many other classes.
I feel on top of the world I am seeing results have lost over a stone and look and feel great. Meeting Vicky was one of the best things I have done. I also meet some amazing people and we plan to stay in touch.
Thanks Vicky you changed my life
“My confidence has grown, my fitness knowledge has improved and my love for health foods has got bigger”
The biggest hurdle for me was going solo but I found that Vicky was very reassuring on the phone.
The workouts were second to none and a challenge, which was enjoyable and I still practise some of the new poses. I have found that my arm strength has definitely improved. I enjoyed the 3D fitness and I wish a DVD was available to play now and again to continue the workouts.
Vicky has a lovely, friendly and calm manner and was willing to listen and help in any way to make the experience more enjoyable.
To sum up my confidence has grown, my fitness knowledge has improved, my love for health foods has got bigger. I would definitely recommend them.
Since the course I have tried hot yoga which was brilliant and have even considered training to be a yoga teacher – well maybe one day.
